Standard Chartered has a Wholesale Banking business in the Americas. The Bank’s primary function is to facilitate trade and investment flows between the Americas and the Group’s core geographies of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. In 2009, Standard Chartered added a Corporate Finance capability in the Americas, focusing primarily on cross-border financing.
Standard Chartered Bank in Chile
Following the American Express Bank acquisition, Standard Chartered’s Representative Office in Santiago started operations in 2008.
In Chile, the Bank is focused on the Wholesale Banking business. The Wholesale Bank business offers an extension of the full product suite of Standard Chartered Bank New York branch.
